Visitors to CCH

Over the Christmas holidays 2011-2012 2 families from our Nelson Central Community visited Phnom Penh in Cambodia and the Centre For Children's Happiness orphanages.
The first family were Jayden and his mum and dad. They kindly delivered some of the books we had collected the previous year to boost the English section of the CCH library.

He also spotted this sign thanking Nelson Central School for the donations we have made since 2010

Later during the same holiday Dr Potaka and his wife visited CCH and spend time talking to Sokha who runs the orphanages and the school. 

He also saw how the boys from the orphanage were involved in the building of the new school.....

 ....and how the children keep their minds active when not at school.
